The Opportunity
Due to our expansion and the development, of a brand-new state of the art showroom, Dunleas of Kilcullen, a long-established leader in the Kildare automotive market, is seeking to recruit a highly-motivated Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead by example, driving sales performance while mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the sales team to achieve departmental targets and maximise profitability.
- Drive performance across new and used vehicle sales, finance, and associated products.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Monitor sales activity, KPIs, and departmental performance to ensure objectives are achieved and report regularly on same to senior management.
- Support, coach, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing sales environment.
- Oversee vehicle stock presentation, showroom standards, and sales processes.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure effective lead management.
- Work collaboratively with marketing, finance, and aftersales departments to support overall business growth.
- Ensure compliance with all manufacturer, finance, and dealership procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and operational efficiency.
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales management role.
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales and profitability targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
- Strong analytical ability with experience using sales data, KPIs, and performance reporting to drive sales growth and maximise profitability.
- Professional, motivated, and customer-focused approach.
- A full and clean driving license.
