full-time, Permanent, Van Driver to join our Team
Job Purpose: Provide deliveries to our customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Check order and dockets prior to departure.
Ensure deliveries are delivered on time.
Ensure all PODs are signed and returned to the office on time.
Complete daily vehicle and load checks and report any incidents on the day.
Ensure loads are secured pre-departure. Adherence to compliance with Health and Safety and Road Safety.
Multi drops and Branch to Branch runs.
Driving long and/or short distances.
Planning delivery schedules and routes with the Branch Manager.
Handling freight in a safe, efficient manner.
Helping load and unload goods.
Build excellent customer relationships.
Requirements:
Full Clean Driving License.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent time keeping.
Be highly motivated and can work to set deadlines.
Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
Problem-solving skills.
Good road knowledge of surrounding areas.
