Valworth Solutions Ltd is a scaffolding contractor working across the Galway area on housing developments, self-builds and commercial projects. We are hiring scaffolders and scaffolding labourers to join our crews, with an immediate start available for the right people.
We are a growing company with modern equipment and steady, year-round work. Whether you are a fully qualified scaffolder or looking to get into the trade, we would like to hear from you.
The role
You will work as part of a crew erecting, altering, inspecting and dismantling scaffolding on site. Day to day this involves:
- Erecting and striking scaffolding safely and to the agreed design
- Loading and unloading materials and keeping the site tidy and organised
- Carrying out pre-use checks and reporting any defects immediately
- Following all site safety rules and wearing the required PPE at all times
- Working as part of a team and communicating clearly with the crew and site management
What we are looking for
- Experienced Advanced or Basic scaffolders, scaffolding labourers, or trainees
- CSCS card an advantage (we will support you in getting carded)
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates
- Comfortable working at height and outdoors in all weather
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Full clean driving licence an advantage
- Own transport to site is useful, though not essential for all positions
No experience? We take on trainees and give full on-the-job training. If you are willing to work and turn up on time, we will teach you the trade.
