Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Machine Maintenance Technician with a proven track record in maintaining construction plant and equipment in time-critical environments. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently across site and workshop settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance and repair of construction plant and machinery (e.g. excavators, loaders, dumpers)
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- Perform preventative maintenance and servicing
- Work independently to manage workload
- Maintain service records and follow safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with construction plant or heavy equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Proven ability to work independently in time-critical environments
- Experience with on-site and workshop-based repairs
- Full driving licence and own transport required
