Step Ahead Créche is a well-established early years Service in Newport, County Tipperary with over 8 years of experience in the community. Our Mission is to provide outstanding Childcare, incorporating the principles of Aistear and Síolta, which nurtures and enhances the potential within each child.
About the role:
– The position is full time for a Room Leader in our Toddler Room, approximately 35-38 hours per week.
– Competitive remuneration above the current ERO rates, dependent on experience and qualifications.
– 20 days annual leave per year
– CPD is encouraged and subsidized or paid in full by the service.
– A friendly, welcoming working environment.
The right candidate will:
– Have a Level 7/8 degree (this is preferable but not essential), or a minimum qualification of QQI Level 6.
– Be able to work as part of a team as well on their own initiative
– Be competent in planning and preparing child – led, engaging activities appropriate for the age group using Aistear and Siolta.
