***Full Irish Driving License – This role includes travel and may require occasional overnight stays at different locations, including periods spent in Cork***.
***Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HSE-related role within the construction industry. You will be keen to build on your existing knowledge and embrace new challenges. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop are essential for success in this role. You will be fully supported by the team, but a proactive approach to your own learning and development, along with a willingness to accept coaching, training, and feedback, is key***.
Your role and remit will be to enable improvements in HSE performance by delivering strategic projects that reduce accident and incident frequency rates.
You will proactively engage business teams to develop a positive HSE culture.
Role Details:
•Annual salary up to €70,000k dependent on skills and experience. Plus an annual on target bonus of 5% depending on company performance

•Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.
•Lead strategic initiatives to improve HSE performance across the workforce.
• Coordinate HSE actions and outcomes across business units and departments to ensure consistency and alignment.
•Deliver engaging safety communications, presentations and training to strengthen awareness and behaviours.
•Continuously develop professional expertise in HSE through learning, research and best practice sharing.
•Assess and recommend improvements to infrastructure, processes and systems to enhance safety performance and compliance.
•Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support consistent safety standards across the division and wider business.
•Embed company HSE goals into daily operations to foster a proactive and engaged safety culture.
•Support the business in identifying and addressing root causes of accidents and hazards, integrating findings into continuous improvement.
•Reduction in accidents, incidents, near misses, RIDDORs.
•Zero Harm milestones are being achieved.
•Clear Occupational Health processes in place.
•Successful audits with improvements identified and implemented.
•Key initiatives and projects delivered on time and within budget.
•Level 8 or above qualification in Health and Safety or equivalent
•Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a HSE related role and in the construction industry
•IOSH managing safely.
•Data analysis, particularly identification of trends.
•Knowledge of 45001 and 14001 standards and their requirements.
