PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Warehouse & Dispatch Operative is a vital part of the supply chain process and is responsible for the planning, coordinating, administration, monitoring, dispatch of goods from the production factory to the warehouse. To achieve this you will manage processes and systems both manual and automated.
Working as part of a team, you will be applying practical skills, working quickly, accurately and with excellent attention to detail with full concentration at all times.

This role is based between our Warehouse & Logistics site in St. Margaret’s, Co. Dublin as well as our Main Office in Westpalstown, Oldtown.
Key areas of the role:
· Checking stock quantities, processing stock orders from the Warehouse/Dispatch team.
· Loading, unloading and storing of raw materials, finished product, packaging etc.
· Keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
· Coordinating the use of manual and computerised systems.
· Producing stock take reports and statistics on a weekly/monthly basis.
· Responding to internal communication by email and telephone.
· Transport of goods between on-site production facility and warehouses in a forklift or pallet truck.
· Loading stock requirements/orders onto trucks, vans etc.
· Liaise with the Dispatch Supervisor and Production Manager.
· Following all Health & Safety procedures and adhering to the company’s Safety Statement at all times; identifying any risks/hazards or faulty equipment and reporting them to the Supervisor immediately.
· Flexibility in relation to General Operative duties, working on the production factory when required.
· Other house-keeping duties.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous warehouse operative experience.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
· Operational knowledge of warehouse systems and technology.
· Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Excellent organisational and administration skills with the ability to solve problems in a fast moving environment.
· Focused and driven, with excellent attention to detail.
· Forklift licence.

The duties of this role include, but are not limited to those listed above; some flexibility from employees is required to meet the on-going and changing needs of the business.
Pay: €15.50-€16.50 per hour
