Omniguard Technology is searching for an experienced Security Engineer. This is a full-time, project based contract based in the West of Ireland.
This field-based role involves the high-level install, service, maintenance and commissioning of an integrated access control security system for a prestigious commercial project in Limerick.
Core Responsibilities
- Installation: Install, terminate, test, and document access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems in accordance with project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
- Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve advanced hardware, software and networking faults across multi-vendor platforms.
- Compliance: Ensure all works are completed and certified in strict accordance with Irish standards.
- Commissioning: Completion of test certificates and handover documentation is an integral part of the commissioning process. This may also include production of as-built drawings and commissioning records.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 5+ years' experience installing and commissioning enterprise-level access control, CCTV, and integrated security systems within commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments. Experience working independently on large-scale projects and interpreting technical drawings is highly desirable.
- Attributes: A methodical, safety-conscious problem-solver with excellent communication skills for client-facing environments.
- Certification: Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling +

- Day Rate : Negotiable based on experience/certifications
