About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Childcare Educator to join our welcoming, collaborative team in Ranelagh. This is a permanent, full-time role splitting time between school term-time care and exciting full-day holiday camps.
Working Hours
- Term-time: 12pm– 6:10 pm (Monday to Friday)
- Holiday Camps (School breaks): 8:30 am – 6:10 pm (Full-day programs)
Generous Paid Holidays: Enjoy excellent, structured time off including:
- Approximately 4 weeks in August
- 2 weeks at Christmas
- 1 week at Easter

Typical Responsibilities
- Supervise, care for, and actively engage children aged 4–13.
- Plan and implement creative programs, group games, arts & crafts, and age-appropriate learning.
- Monitor, support, and document children’s progress and behavior.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Qualification: DCYA-recognised childcare qualification (Minimum QQI Level 5 or higher).
- Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced childcare environment with children aged 4–13.
- Skills: Strong communication skills in English (with both children and adults).
- Attributes: A flexible, adaptable approach and a strong ability to work in a team setting.
- Vetting: Clear Garda Vetting AND Police Vetting Clearance from your country of origin (if applicable).
- References: Two written professional references are mandatory.
