We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to support our mechanical and energy engineering projects in Ireland. This position is responsible for the precise assembly, installation, alignment, and maintenance of heavy machinery and mechanical components on site. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and a high regard for precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Alignment: Assemble, position, and align heavy machinery, pumps, generators, and structural steel components using precision tools.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical faults, perform routine maintenance, and execute necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret mechanical drawings, engineering blueprints, and technical specifications.
- On-site Collaboration: Work alongside civil and electrical teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems
Minimum Requirements:
- Qualifications: Recognized apprenticeship or trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Turnery, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in heavy industry, power generation, or large-scale construction environments.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators) and alignment techniques.
- Certifications: Valid Irish Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificate.
- Language: A fluent level of English is requiered.
