Camden Court Hotel is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our Front Office team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a busy environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable stay from arrival through departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all reservations and billing details.
- Provide the highest standard of customer care at all times.
- Handle guest requests and queries in a polite, professional, and attentive manner.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
- Maintain the smooth and effective operation of the Front Office department.
- Answer telephones, transfer calls, take messages, and process reservations in line with hotel standards.
- Ensure all guest needs are met promptly and professionally during their stay.
- Maintain strong knowledge of front office standards, procedures, and service delivery expectations.
- Comply fully with company regulations regarding fire safety, health & safety, security, and customer care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Hotel Receptionist (experience with Opera PMS is highly desirable).
- Friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- A natural ability to build rapport and exceed guest expectations.
