New Dispatch Co-ordinator Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Dispatch Co-ordinator to support the efficient movement of goods and ensure timely deliveries to customers. The successful candidate will be assisting in coordinating despatch activities, liaising with transport providers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting warehouse and logistics operations.
This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- To support the dispatch supervisor in coordinating daily despatch and logistics operations to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.
- Provide operational cover for supervisor duties, including for late shifts and periods of absence (e.g. annual leave), ensuring continuity of operations.
- To oversee bulk order processing and deliveries to ensure on time processing and deliveries.
- To help enforce warehouse housekeeping standards and ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- To ensure all export orders are processed properly and to track shipments. To provide updates on all export consignments.
- To maintain adequate stock levels of warehouse consumables including corrugate, shrink wrap, and other packaging materials. Proactively track usage and notify management in advance of replenishment requirements.
- To provide training of staff where required
