LendWell builds AI-powered software for mortgage brokers across Ireland and the UK — turning a slow, document-heavy, manual process into something fast and intelligent. We're post-seed, scaling toward Series A, and our product is already core to how our clients originate and manage mortgage business day to day.
The role
We're hiring a product-minded experienced engineer to own systems and projects across our customer-facing product surface: an Angular web application backed by a GraphQL API. You'll take ambiguous, loosely defined problems and drive them to shipped outcomes — owning a domain, setting technical direction within it, and leading multi-engineer projects end to end.
This is a deep-execution role for someone with strong systems-level thinking who wants real ownership, not just tickets.
What you'll do
- Own a domain within our Angular/GraphQL product surface — architecture, tradeoffs, scaling, and risk
- Lead multi-engineer projects from problem to delivery
- Set technical direction within your area and raise the bar in design and code review
- Align stakeholders across product, design, and engineering, and write proposals others can act on
- Mentor and grow earlier-career engineers, and take part in hiring
What we're looking for
- Expert-level Angular skills and a track record of building complex front-end systems
- Fluency working against GraphQL surfaces
- Deep systems-level thinking — sound judgment on tradeoffs, scaling, and failure modes
- Strong, reliable execution: identifies what should be done, not just how, and manages ambiguity without hand-holding
- Experience mentoring engineers and shaping how a team builds
- Fintech or regulated-industry experience a plus
Pay: €60,000.00-€130,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Dublin, County Dublin
