The ideal candidate for this position:
Knockranny House Hotel are looking to expand our Accommodation team. Prospective applicants should be able to carry out the following duties:
- To greet all guests in a warm and a friendly manner
- To work as part of the Accommodation team
- To clean and service the hotel guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas
- To ensure guests corridors and public areas are cleaned and serviced to the required standard
- To deal with guests queries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
- Train, mentor, and support housekeeping team members.
- Liaise with reception, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- To develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments
The ideal candidate for this position:
- Must be flexible, enjoy a challenge and is able to work outside the comfort zone while maintaining the ability to be objective and positive
- Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
- Must be a team player with the ability to multi task
- Must be standards driven and detail orientated
- Maintain a professional image at all times through appearance
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 star hotel would be advantageous
- Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
