Barista – Roots Açai, Monkstown
Location: Salthill & Monkstown DART Station, Dublin

Roots Açai is looking for a friendly, energetic and reliable Barista to join our team at our Monkstown food truck.
Roots is a busy neighbourhood spot serving specialty coffee, açai bowls, and treats. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in making great coffee and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
The Role
As part of the Roots team, you'll be responsible for:
- Preparing consistently great coffee and other drinks
- Taking customer orders and providing friendly, efficient service
- Preparing and serving açai bowls and other menu items
- Keeping the food truck clean, organised and well stocked
- Opening and closing duties
- Handling payments and operating the till
- Working as part of a small team during busy periods
What we're Looking For
Previous barista experience is preferred, but attitude is just as important to us. We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, positive and confident with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Hardworking and comfortable in a busy environment
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Interested in coffee, food and hospitality
- Available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts
