Role Description
The General Caretaker role is a full-time, on-site position located in Dundalk. In this role, the General Caretaker will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance of the facility. Day-to-day tasks include performing minor repairs, maintaining the cleanliness of common areas, managing waste disposal, and ensuring supplies are adequately stocked. Additional responsibilities include monitoring the security of the premises and responding to maintenance-related issues promptly to ensure the smooth functioning of the facility.
Qualifications
- Basic maintenance and repair skills, including troubleshooting and fixing minor issues.
- General cleaning and housekeeping abilities to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Time management and organisational skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Health and safety awareness, including knowledge of best practices and ability to follow regulations.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to addressing maintenance needs.
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks as required.
- Prior experience in facility management, property maintenance, or a similar role is a plus.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay: €14.50-€15.50 per hour
