Job Description:
We are seeking friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Full-Time Bar Staff to join our team. The Hamlet Court Hotel is a family run, 30 bedroom hotel in the village of Johnstownbridge, outside Enfield on the Meath/Kildare border. The Hamlet Court Hotel has been certified as an Excellent Employer for 2025 as part of Fáilte Ireland's Employer Excellence programme. The successful candidates will be passionate about customer service and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
- Operate tills and handle cash/card payments accurately
- Assist with stock control, including restocking and inventory checks
- Set up and clean down bar area for service
- Follow hotel procedures for opening/closing the bar
Required Skills/Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of bar experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and a proactive, team oriented attitude
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time position, the ideal candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday and weekends, this position is 5 days a week including weekends, a variety of shifts including opening and closing the bar. This position is not suitable for college students.
