Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Electronic/Electrical Hardware Engineer or Technician with hands‑on experience in Industrial Electronics to join our technical team in Dublin. This role focuses on the repair, testing, and analysis of a wide range of electronic and electrical equipment. Typical equipment includes switch‑mode power supplies (SMPS), power inverters, servo drives and motors, digital and analog circuit boards, PLC controllers, HMIs, and various other industrial electronic devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty industrial electronic equipment down to component level
- Debugging equipment to identify components associated with faults
- Performing PCB rework at component level (PTH/SMD soldering)
- Assisting in the development of processes, documentation, and test procedures
- Providing technical support to the Customer Service and Sales teams
- Supporting the technical development of team members
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in some of the following areas:
- Degree qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong aptitude for reverse‑engineering electronic equipment to component level
- Hands‑on experience working with electronics at component level
- Knowledge of power electronics, including SMPS, AC drives/inverters, and motors
- Experience designing or building electronic interfaces and test equipment
- Interest in training, mentoring, or coaching technical staff
- Fluent or advanced written and spoken English
