Job Summary
As a Mixologist, you will play a central role in delivering an elevated beverage experience across the business bars and restaurants. You will combine technical expertise, creativity, and exceptional service to craft memorable drinks and meaningful guest interactions, contributing to the distinctive identity of the business offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, personalised bar service that reflects the hotel’s luxury standards.
- Prepare and present cocktails, spirits, and beverages with precision, creativity, and consistency.
- Develop a strong understanding of the cocktail menu, ingredients, and flavour profiles to confidently guide guest choices.
- Contribute to the creation and evolution of signature cocktails and seasonal offerings.
- Maintain a proactive approach to guest engagement, anticipating preferences and enhancing the overall experience.
- Ensure efficient service flow at the bar, balancing speed with attention to detail and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness of the bar area at all times.
- Manage stock levels, assist with inventory control, and ensure proper storage of all beverages and ingredients.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and responsible service of alcohol standards.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Participate in pre-service briefings and ongoing training sessions.
- Uphold the hotel’s service standards, SOPs, and brand values in all interactions.
Required Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-quality hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and modern mixology techniques.
- Passion for beverage innovation and guest experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard service environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
- Flexibility, teamwork, and a proactive attitude.
- Completion of mandatory training including HACCP, Manual Handling, and Responsible Service of Alcohol.

- Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland.
- This job description will be reviewed annually with the Bars Manager and the Director of Food & Beverage.
