Interior Designer

Elk House Interiors is an established and growing interior design studio specialising in high-end residential interiors, bespoke renovations, and show house projects across Dublin and Wicklow.
Based in Greystones, Co. Wicklow, we are currently seeking a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our collaborative and creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a designer who is passionate about delivering beautifully considered spaces and who enjoys working across multiple premium residential projects from concept through to completion.
The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, design-focused, and confident working both independently and within a wider studio environment.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an interior design role
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience producing and managing FF&E schedules and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent understanding of space planning, layouts, materials, finishes and technical detailing
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Highly organised, reliable and detail-oriented
- Professional, approachable and collaborative attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider design team
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Revit or similar design software
- Site coordination and contractor liaison experience
- Knowledge of procurement and supplier coordination
- Experience attending client meetings and presenting design concepts
- Understanding of building regulations and industry standards
- Strong supplier, finishes and material sourcing knowledge
