Strand Montessori & Afterschool
We are currently recruiting for a Montessori Teacher to join our purpose-built service in Sandymount.
The right candidate must be kind, reliable and work well as part of a small dedicated team of teachers.
- Working alongside 5 other teachers in a support role for both classrooms.
- Helping with planning and reviewing the classroom curriculum
- Ensuring that the well-being and physical needs of all children in Strand are being reached on a daily basis.
- Supervising Afterschool children with homework and show initiative and creativity in planning Afterschool Activities.
- 6 Weeks Annual Holidays.
- Monday to Friday by roster 8.30-5.30 or 9am-6pm,
- One early finish 3pm per week.
Requirements ∙
Minimum Qualification at Level 6 in Early Childhood Care & Montessori Education. Level 7 Qualification an advantage.
Certificates in First Aid and Child Protection Training (an advantage) ∙
Knowledge of Aistear, Siolta, Early Years (Pre-school services) Regulations & the Montessori Method is essential ∙
Full, Clean Driving Licence an advantage
