We are seeking a responsible, reliable, and safety-conscious Bus Driver to transport passengers safely and efficiently along assigned routes. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, follow traffic laws, maintain a clean vehicle, and ensure passengers have a safe and comfortable journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a bus according to scheduled routes and timetables.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated stops.
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
- Assist passengers, including elderly individuals and those with disabilities.
- Collect fares or verify tickets when required.
- Keep the bus clean and presentable.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and incidents.
- Respond professionally to passenger inquiries and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent with passenger endorsement (as required by local regulations).
- Clean driving record.
- Previous bus or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and shifts.
