Salary: €39,100 - €56,349 (FTE), pro rata based on contracted hours.
Prosper Fingal is currently recruiting a Social Care Worker to join our Day Services team in Swords, Co. Dublin. This role offers the opportunity to support adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to live full and meaningful lives, with a focus on independence, choice and participation in their local community. You will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality, person-centred supports.

As a Social Care Worker, you will:

Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Support people to build independence and develop everyday living skills.

Encourage participation in community, social, creative and recreational activities.

Support individuals to identify and work towards their personal goals.

Promote choice, inclusion and meaningful participation in community life.

Build positive relationships with the people we support, their families and colleagues.

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Deliver supports in line with New Directions and Prosper's values.

CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential).

A QQI Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Social Care or another qualification recognised by CORU.

A full, clean manual driving licence (desirable)

Strong communication, interpersonal and IT skills.

Experience in disability services is desirable.

Knowledge of New Directions is advantageous.

A positive, person-centred approach and commitment to supporting people to achieve their goals.
