Position Overview:
The Kitchen porter will be preparing and serving French-style dishes in a compact galley kitchen while also assisting with cleaning, organization, and general kitchen support. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cooking and comfortable working in a small, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and plate French-style menu items to high standards.
- Work efficiently within a galley kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout service.
- Prep work, stock rotation, and deliveries.
- Ensure all food hygiene and safety standards are strictly followed.
Requirements:
- Strong teamwork and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a small, fast-paced environment.
- Valid food safety certification preferred.
