Role Overview
DOR Group Electrical Services are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Supervisor to lead and coordinate industrial electrical and E&I projects in West Cork, with a strong focus on works within a large, long-standing client site.
This is a senior site leadership role responsible for the planning, coordination and successful delivery of projects from start through to completion.
The successful candidate will manage site teams, coordinate labour and resources, liaise directly with the client and work closely with our Contracts Manager and wider management team to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise electrical and E&I projects on site from start through to completion.
- Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities.
- Manage and coordinate site teams, typically consisting of 10–15 electricians, E&I technicians and apprentices.
- Allocate labour and resources effectively across ongoing projects and work areas.
- Liaise directly with the client, ensuring clear communication and professional project delivery.
- Work closely with the Contracts Manager and office team to plan upcoming works, labour and project requirements.
- Coordinate materials, equipment, subcontractors and deliveries to site.
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with site safety requirements, permits, RAMS and company procedures.
- Monitor project progress, quality and programme dates.
- Maintain high installation standards while minimising snagging and rework.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning and project handover requirements.
- Identify upcoming constraints, resource requirements and potential delays in advance.
- Mentor and support electricians, E&I technicians and apprentices within the site team.
- Maintain clear communication between the client, site teams and DOR management.
Key Requirements
- Qualified Electrician or Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician.
- Strong industrial electrical experience is essential.
- Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor, Project Supervisor, Foreman or similar leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial control wiring, control panels and electrical control systems.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems, including fault finding, I/O understanding and interfacing. PLC programming experience is not essential.
- Good knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (VSDs), including installation, fault finding and commissioning.
- Experience working within live industrial environments such as processing plants, manufacturing facilities, food & beverage or pharmaceutical sites.
- Strong understanding of electrical installations, containment systems, controls, testing and commissioning.
- Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects, teams and competing priorities.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients and coordinating works in a busy operational environment.
- Proactive approach with the ability to identify requirements and issues before they impact project delivery.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, programme and efficiency.
- Full clean driving licence.
The Role
This position would suit an experienced Electrical Supervisor or Foreman looking to progress into a senior project supervision role with greater responsibility for planning, coordination, people management and client interaction.
We are looking for someone with a strong industrial background who can take ownership of projects, manage site teams effectively and build a strong working relationship with the client.
