Conveyancing Solicitor (Maternity Cover [RM1]
Location: Dublin City Centre
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (24 months, Maternity Cover)
Start Date: As Soon as possible
Salary: Commensurate with experience
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solicitor ( with at least one year experience in relation to conveyancing and probatepractice ) to join our friendly and established practice on a 24-months maternity cover contract.
The role focuses primarily on residential conveyancing, with some exposure to commercial property and probate matters, depending on experience and interest.
This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to gain valuable hands-on experience and further develop their skills within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage residential conveyancing files from instruction to post-completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and voluntary transfers
- Manage Wills and Probate files from instruction to post-completion
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders to progress transactions
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Draft and review contracts, title documents, and closing documents
- Attend to stamping and registration with the PRAI and Revenue
- Provide general assistance to other fee earners on probate files and other private client matters as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 1 year experience in conveyancing and probate.
- Strong understanding of Probate and residential property law and practice in Ireland
- Excellent file management, drafting, and client communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Team player with a proactive and professional attitude
