Background:
We offer a permanent site foreman role for an experienced qualified carpenter to join our Dublin based construction company. We require a reliable and experienced individual with site supervisor or working forman experience who can manage new build and renovation/extension projects professionally and achieve finishes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
You will lead an established site team and be responsible for the management and delivery of residential new build and extension/renovation projects in the Dublin area.
Requirements:
- Qualified carpenter with proven experience
- 3 +/- years experience at supervisor level working with a main contractor or developer
- Ability to take ownership of a project, manage trades and labour force on site to a programme and schedule of works
- Work with the support from Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Office Staff to drive project programmes and completion
- Attention to detail with a motivation to deliver a top quality finish
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Be responsible for the communication from site
- Maintain clean and safe conditions on site
- Plan and procure materials required on site
- Must speak fluent English and be eligible to work in Ireland
