We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer to assist our professional team in the provision of accommodation and ancillary services to Persons Seeking International Protection at Globe House, Independent Living Centre in Sligo.
The successful person will be required to provide a compassionate, empathetic and top-quality customer service to all of our residents and stakeholders. , have some and be available to work mostly evening/ night shifts (8 and or 12 hour shifts) and weekends. General duties include building patrols, monitoring CCTV and entrance points, reception work/customer service, regular fire and safety checks, general tidy up/cleaning of building. The successful candidates must have excellent communication and customer service skills and be self motivated.
Pay rates and other terms and conditions offered will be in accordance with ERO
Competencies/Experience /Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a valid PSA static licence
- Excellent communications skills with a warm and friendly personality
- Min 1 years Security experience working in a security type environment, in an IPAS centre/hotel/accommodation/care setting is desirable
- Strong organisational ability and self motivate
