We are seeking an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to join our team in Dublin (D24 CR70) This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and reliability of critical infrastructure systems within the Ireland Data Centre. This role ensures operational excellence, compliance with safety standards, and continuous availability of data centre services.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
· Assist in managing and maintaining critical infrastructure systems including power, cooling, and security systems.
· Support the implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
· Monitor system performance and respond to operational issues promptly.
· Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair activities.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Maintain accurate documentation of systems, procedures, and incidents.
· Participate in audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
· Support capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades.
· Provide leadership and guidance to on-site technicians and support staff.
· Assist in emergency response and incident management procedures.
· Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
· Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company, and group policies and procedures.
Qualifications: Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
· Relevant certifications such as Data Centre Operations Professional (DCOP), or equivalent, are preferred.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical facilities or data centre operations.
· Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data centre environment.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergencies effectively.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in using Building Management Systems (BMS) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: €75,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
