Requirements:
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI (essential)
Have 5 years post registration experience in an acute setting. (essential)
Have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a Emergency Department setting. (essential)
Hold a Post Graduate course in Emergency Nursing. (essential)
Have a minimum of 1 year's management experience (essential).
Have completed a management training programme (desirable)
A proven ability to plan, deliver and evaluate care provision in the emergency department
Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
Have excellent communication & leadership skills with the ability to positively engage with staff and patients
Have a proven ability to work under pressure
Have an ability to deal with staff at all levels within the organisation
