Production Equipment Europe is a leading industrial distributor supplying over 90,000 products to customers nationwide. We are currently recruiting a Retail Supervisor for our Safety Direct Division to play a critical role in the promotion of sales, marketing, customer service and brand development.
Responsibilities

Responsible for all sales activities including sales, marketing, customer service and brand development

Develop good business relationships with all new and existing customers

Deliver first class customer service at all times

Resolve customer complaints as effectively as possible

Merchandising the floor space to maximise sales
-
Participate as a project team member and drive relevant projects through to implementation

Lead and train the team of Retail Store Assistants

Ensure to keep up to date with applicable regulations and safety legislation

Work as part of a team to organise in-store promotions
-
Increase business by maximising sales to each customer

Inform customers of the technical benefits of our products and have the confidence to discuss in great detail

Other duties as assigned from time to time

Develop relationships with supplier representatives

Stay in touch with current market trends and innovations
Skills and Experience

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage

Driven with a passion for a career in sales and/or customer support

Ability to identify customer needs and maximise sales opportunities

Good communication, organisation and administration skills

Flexible and pro-active attitude

Ability to bring new ideas/initiatives to drive sales

A technical or marketing background would be a distinct advantage
