The Returns Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day running of our car returns and checking process as well as providing guidance and direction to Returns team, with the support of the Garage Manager. Whilst this is a supervisory role, the Returns Supervisor will also be required to perform the tasks of a General Operative as part of their remit.
Job Role and Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day oversight of team of Returns team ensuring productivity and quality customer service delivery at all times
- Forward planning to ensure that each day a seamless service is consistently delivered by the Checking team including monitoring returns reports for next day
- Checking in of returning vehicles and processing required paperwork for incoming customers
- Responsibility for achieving personal KPIs and encouraging Checking team to do the same
- Management of Returns Lane capacity with support from Garage Manager and Branch Manager
- Liaising with Garage Supervisor in regards to fleet requirements for that day and managing of Returns Lane depending on these requirements
- First level investigation of late and overdue vehicles
- Assessing returning vehicles to account for any new damages and assist customers in processing any associated paperwork or transactions
- Liaising with the Fleet team and providing necessary documentation where vehicles are damaged
- Responsibility for ensuring all customer returns data is input into internal systems including information relating to any new damage
- Implementation of de-fleeting policy
- General Operative duties including car movement and vehicle preparation/valeting as required
- General administrative duties associated with the Checking process
- Any other duties as required by your Line Manager
Role Requirements:
- Full clean Irish driving licence (manual & automatic transmission)
- A self-starter with excellent people, organisational and communication skills
- Previous team supervising advantageous, not required
- Fluency in English
- Flexibility - normal working hours will be between 5am – 12am rostered over Monday to Sunday with breaks.
