Working Foreman / Forewoman – Immediate Start
Cathal Glynn Construction Ltd is a Limerick-based construction company specialising in high-quality new builds and full renovations throughout Limerick City and County.
We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman / Forewoman for an immediate start.
Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations and coordinate trades on site.
- Ensure works are completed in line with programme and quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
- Monitor workmanship and address issues as they arise.
- Coordinate deliveries, materials, and subcontractors.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and office team.
- Carry out site records, photographs, and progress updates using a smartphone or tablet.
- Lead by example and assist with hands-on work when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in construction.
- Previous experience as a Foreman, Working Foreman, Lead Carpenter, or Site Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of residential construction and renovations.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and direct labour on site.
- Full clean driving licence and own transport.
- Valid Safe Pass and up-to-date Manual Handling certification.
- Fluent English.
