Jaye Taylor Restaurant is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead our team and drive our business to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with outstanding leadership skills, a passion for excellence,passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and a proven ability to build high-performing teams.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the restaurant, leading both front and back-of-house operations while ensuring an outstanding experience for our guests and a positive, high-performance culture for our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and develop the entire restaurant team.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain talented staff, creating a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Drive exceptional customer service and consistently high operational standards.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure outstanding food quality and consistency.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, stock control, budgets, and profitability.
- Monitor performance and implement strategies to improve sales, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
- Lead by example, maintaining professionalism, energy, and a positive working environment.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality manager in a busy restaurant.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to develop menus and maintain excellent food quality
- A natural leader with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams to a level of excellence.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, labour costs, and profitability.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to delivering exceptional food, service, and customer experiences.
- The confidence to make decisions, drive change, and lead the business with passion and integrity.
