Role Overview:
The Security Systems Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated gate systems and CCTV surveillance solutions. This role ensures that security infrastructure operates reliably and meets safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission automated gate systems (sliding, swing, barriers, access control integration).
- Set up and maintain CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and remote monitoring solutions.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electrical, mechanical, and networked security systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and system upgrades.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant safety and security standards.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system usage.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience with gate automation systems and CCTV installation.
- Knowledge of access control systems and integration.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, remote access setup).
- Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with relevant tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and onsite.
