Restaurant Manager
Mario’s Diner is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy restaurant in Kilkenny.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant.
- Supervise, train and motivate staff.
- Prepare staff rosters and monitor labour costs.
- Ensure excellent customer service at all times.
- Maintain HACCP and food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate supplier orders.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and staff development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good computer literacy.
- Fluent English.
This is a permanent full-time position (39 hours per week) based in Kilkenny.
Pay: Up to €36,605.40 per year
