Job Summary
Reporting to the Line Manager you will be responsible for:
- Fabricate and assemble bespoke cabinets, counters and modular shopfitting displays using woodworking machinery from CAD drawings and cut lists in line with the company quality standards
- Read CAD drawings and identify all components required for assembly
- Advanced joinery assembly and manufacture skills required – ability to work with all finishes including veneers, laminates and painted finishes
- To ensure correct and safe use of hand tools, power tools and factory machines
- Ensure the highest standard of assembly is carried out at all times
- Ensure that you are working in line with current health and safety standards
- Take full responsibility for all health and safety issues for which he/she is responsible
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Required education, skills and qualifications:
- Minimum 2/3 years cabinetmaking/joiner workshop experience after qualification
- Shop fitting trade experience or trade qualification is essential
- Full driving licence not essential but advantageous
- Ability to read CAD drawings and identify all components required for assembly
- Fluency in English is essential both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of technical specifications of joinery and cabinet making products
- Experience of using hand tools, power tools
- Team player
