Reports to: Production Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Role: As an assembly operator you will work as a Production Line Team Member assembling, testing and packing a range of equipment used to produce chilled beverages. The role will involve installing and connecting refrigeration components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves onto sheet metal enclosures and wiring of electrical components including motors, controllers, sensors, and switches.
The role will also involve working with various gases used in the Production cycle including nitrogen and R290 refrigerant with strict adherence to safety protocols being a key requirement of the role.
Key responsibilities of role will include: The successful applicant will ensure that products are produced safely, efficiently and tested to meet the specifications.
- Identify and report all in-process faults
- Product assembly
- Product Final Test
- Final QC
- Ensuring production documentation is the current revision
- Ensuring the daily production targets are achieved
- Comply with Work Instructions, Safety and Quality systems and procedures in their area
- Teamwork
- 5S maintenance
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Refrigeration experience
- A good command of the English Language both written and oral
- A good understanding of H & S in the workplace.
- Strong work ethic
- An excellent attitude
- Good manual dexterity
- Previous experience in a Lean production environment is an added advantage
- Previous electrical/electronic experience is desirable
- Previous experience with sheet metal, stainless steel is an advantage
- Working to ISO 9001:2015 desirable
- Teamwork mentality and strong interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work overtime if desirable
- Eligibility to work full-time in Ireland
