About Us:
VetSit is a busy, high-quality doggy daycare and luxury boarding facility based in Kilternan. We’re passionate about providing the best care for our dogs and a supportive, positive environment for our team. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated and veterinary nurse or ACA with 2+ years of experience in a clinical role. Must be available to work on one weekend day.
The Role:
You will contribute to the daycare and boarding operations. You will work with a team of dog carers, to ensure the highest standards of care and customer service, and help create a workplace where morale and motivation are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the team, ensuring strong communication and a positive team culture
- daily operations including daycare, boarding, cleaning, feeding, and welfare routines
- Liaise with clients in person and by email/phone
- Ensure all dogs receive exceptional care in line with our standards
- Maintain records and compliance with animal welfare regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a veterinary nursing or clinical role (animal care sector essential)
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate about animal welfare and providing outstanding service
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach
- Flexible to work one weekend day as part of the weekly rota
