We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse & Assembly Technician to join our growing team in Citywest.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a warehouse-focused position with some light assembly work. The majority of your time will be spent on core warehouse operations including goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch.
Assembly duties are structured and process-driven, involving tasks such as installing components and preparing products to customer specifications.
This role would suit someone with strong warehouse experience who is looking for a stable position with long-term growth potential.
Warehouse Operations:
- Unload deliveries (HGVs/Vans/Containers) using a Combilift Aisle Master (VMA) forklift as needed, inspect and store incoming goods, and ensure all deliveries are checked for damage or missing items.
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch sales orders, following all necessary checks and procedures.
- Conduct regular stock counts in coordination with stock control personnel, and investigate discrepancies as required.
- Manage stock rotation on a FIFO basis and ensure shelves/trade counters are replenished.
- Monitor and report stock levels of packaging materials and accessories (e.g., tape, labels) to the Team Leader for ordering.
- Collaborate with various departments within the company to support business operations.
- Perform other duties as directed by management to meet business needs.
Assembly Duties:
- Perform light assembly tasks, such as installing hard drives and components into CCTV recorders (DVRs & NVRs) and upgrading software according to client specifications.
- Complete labelling and BOM (Bill of Materials) allocation using the company’s ERP system (SAGE200).
- Follow assembly quality control procedures and escalate any product quality issues to senior management and internal experts.
Safety:
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with all safety programs.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized by ensuring racks, pallets, and workstations are tidy.
- Safely operate machinery and tools, following safety guidelines and best practices.
- Report any potential hazards or equipment defects.
- Take reasonable care to protect the health and safety of yourself and others in the workplace.

Desirable Experience:
- Forklift license (VNA ideally)
- Experience with light assembly or electronic product repair.
- Trade counter experience.
