Role: General Operative in Logistics Department. (Loading Bay)
Weatherglaze Windows are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our logistics team at our premises in Gorey Co. Wexford. Full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort goods to be distributed.
- Some heavy lifting may be required;
- Check all deliveries against the delivery note to check quality and quantity;
- Ensure that duties are carried out to a high standard and in line with training.
- Ensure that all quality & production issues are discussed with line supervisors and production management.
- Perform secondary operations and tasks as requested by manager/supervisor as required.
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Perform assembly and machinery duties are required from time to time.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements.
- Maintain methods/procedures and all supporting documentation to meet the requirements of ISO 9001
- May be requested to work in other areas of production / departments as required
Key Requirements:
- Previous Loading Bay and Logistics experience preferred but not essential
- Good communication skills.
- Be able to work as part of a team in a team environment
- Good organisational skills
- Be willing to learn skills
- Flexibility with regard to roles and duties
- Full training provided
