Role Overview
The role involves processing online customer orders from start to finish, including picking products, checking orders for accuracy, packing items securely and preparing parcels for dispatch.
You will work closely with other members of the warehouse and retail team to ensure orders are processed efficiently and dispatched on time. Teamwork and good communication are an important part of the role, particularly during busy periods when everyone works together to keep orders moving smoothly.
We are looking for someone who is organised, has good attention to detail and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working as part of a team while also being able to manage their own responsibilities and work independently when required.
Previous warehouse, packing or order fulfilment experience is an advantage but is not essential, as training will be provided.
In-Store Responsibilities:
- Pick and pack online customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Check products, quantities and order details before packing and dispatch.
- Package orders securely to ensure they arrive with customers in excellent condition.
- Prepare and label parcels for collection and delivery.
- Process orders in a timely manner to meet daily dispatch deadlines.
- Assist with receiving, checking and organising incoming stock and deliveries.
- Replenish and merchandise stock throughout the store.
- Assist with stocktaking, stock checks and inventory control.
- Keep the packing area, stockrooms and storage areas clean, safe and organised.
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner when required.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
- Provide additional support across the store and warehouse during busy periods when required.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking with a positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing orders.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast-paced environment.
- A strong team player with good communication skills.
- Able to work independently and use initiative when required.
- Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including being on your feet, moving stock and handling parcels.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using online systems.
- A willingness to learn about Wildhunter products and assist customers when required.
- Previous experience in retail, warehousing, packing or order fulfilment is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
