We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Quality Control (QC) Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced working environment.
We operate a shift pattern of 7 days over 14 days. 4 days one week, 3 days the other. This is 12 hour shift between the operating hours of 5:00am and 5:00pm.
Working in a team you will be responsible for overseeing the quality of our Fruit. Quality is key to our success with our customers and this role will play a significant part in this process.
Main Responsibility:
- Green intake and dispatch QC inspections are being carried out in accordance with Fyffes / customer spec requirements.
- Printing and inspecting (verification) of labels for products.
- Carrying out other QC and H&S checks including glass audits, hygiene checks on routine basis.
- Filing away of paperwork / records, etc.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication skills and good understanding of English language.
- Good numerical skills.
- Hands on approach
- Computer skills – basic knowledge of Outlook and Excel to complete reports
- Conscientious and committed with an eye for detail to challenge quality.
You must be willing to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.
