We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Administration Officer to join our busy electrical retail support office in Mullingar on a 4-month full-time contract.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented administrator to provide essential support to the retail operations team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative functions within a fast-paced electrical retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the retail support office team
- Process orders, invoices, and supplier documentation
- Maintain accurate records and databases
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and office logistics
- Handle incoming calls and customer/retailer enquiries professionally
- Support stock administration and reporting processes
- Assist with general office duties and ad-hoc projects as required
Key Requirements
- Strong computer literacy – proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role (retail or support office experience is an advantage)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to support a busy retail support environment
