Are you a Fully Qualified Accountant with Irish practice experience who is ready to take greater ownership of your work and build strong client relationships?
Richard OShea Consultancy is a growing accountancy practice based in Carrigaline, County Cork, offering a €55,000–€62,000 salary, flexible working hours, professional development support and genuine responsibility within a growing practice.
You’ll work closely with clients, manage your own portfolio and play an important role in delivering a high-quality, personal service. With a straightforward management structure, you’ll have the autonomy to develop your skills and make a meaningful contribution to the practice.
The role also includes free on-site parking and easy access to Carrigaline’s local amenities and surrounding coastal area.
As the practice continues to grow, there will be opportunities to take on greater responsibility and grow with the firm.
What You'll Do
- Prepare financial statements and accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Prepare and file Income Tax, Corporation Tax and VAT returns
- Manage a portfolio of clients and maintain strong client relationships
- Respond to client accounting and tax queries and provide practical support
- Prepare management accounts and financial information where required
- Oversee bookkeeping and payroll for clients
- Assist with Revenue registrations, correspondence and compliance matters
- Handle company secretarial requirements, including annual returns and RBO matters
- Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and systems
- Take ownership of deadlines, deliverables and the quality of your work
What We're Looking For
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in an Irish accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of Irish accounting and tax compliance
- Experience with VAT, Income Tax and Corporation Tax
- Good working knowledge of Quickbooks and/or Xero
- Strong client communication and relationship-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Self-motivated, organised and comfortable taking ownership of client work
