Super Stars Cork is a vibrant performing arts school dedicated to inspiring young people through music, performance, and creativity. We are seeking passionate and experienced Music Teachers to join our growing team.
The Role
We are looking for one teacher or a combination of teachers who can deliver high-quality music tuition across a range of instruments and vocal disciplines. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for preparing students for RIAM examinations while fostering a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual and group music lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
- Prepare and guide students through RIAM (Royal Irish Academy of Music) examinations.
- Teach one or more of the following:
- Piano
- Guitar
- Ukulele
- Choir / Vocal Training
- Develop lesson plans tailored to students’ needs and goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Support student performances, concerts, and school events.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and encouraging learning environment.
Essential Requirements
- Strong proficiency in one or more of the following: Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and Choir/Vocal Training.
- Experience preparing students for RIAM examinations.
- Previous teaching experience with children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
- Reliable, organised, and professional approach to teaching.
Desirable Qualifications
- Music degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification.
- RIAM teaching experience.
- Experience working within performing arts or stage schools.
- Garda Vetting (or willingness to obtain).
