Due to expansion of the business, we are now seeking to hire an experienced Baker for our Food Centre.
This role will include the following responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team in a busy pastry kitchen.
- Assist with the daily tasks and pastry orders.
- Preparation of baked goods to the highest standards.
- Ordering / Waste Control / Stock Takes.
- Ensuring a clean and tidy working environment and as such that all food and safety and HACCP standards are met.
Requirements of this role:
- Experience in a busy bakery is vital for this role.
- Experience making breads, pastries and desserts.
- The candidate should be HACCP and food safety trained.
- Must have very high standards and great attention to detail.
- Be able to work on their own initiative.
The role is a full-time position Monday to Friday with no evenings or weekends.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newmarket, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
