ABOUT THE ROLE
CLASP (www.claspsligo.com) is a community-based transport service operating in the Sligo region. We provide safe and reliable transport services for school children and local community members across rural routes.
We are currently seeking a reliable driver to join our transport team.
ROLE DETAILS
- Monday to Friday
- Part-time or Full-time role available
- Routes within Sligo and surrounding areas
- Working as part of a small local transport team
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely transport passengers on assigned school and local routes
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off times
- Maintain a professional and friendly manner with passengers
- Follow all road safety and company procedures
- Assist passengers where required
REQUIREMENTS
- Full clean D or D1 driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (school transport or similar preferred)
- Good communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality essential
- The successful applicant will be required to complete Garda Vetting and Child Safeguarding training
