We are currently looking for a skilled, passionate, and Experienced Chef to join our team and help drive our culinary output.
The Role
As an Experienced Chef, you will play a key role in daily kitchen operations, working alongside our kitchen team to prepare, cook, and present high-quality food to standard. You will bring efficiency, attention to detail, and a real passion for cooking to a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items consistently to standard during busy service periods.
Station Management: Run and maintain your assigned kitchen station efficiently, ensuring speed of service without compromising on quality.
Quality & Presentation: Ensure every dish leaving the pass meets high standards of taste, temperature, and presentation.
Kitchen Hygiene: Maintain strict standards of cleanliness and comply fully with HACCP and health & safety guidelines.
Stock & Prep: Assist with stock control, station prep, storage management, and minimizing food waste.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced restaurant, gastropub, or hotel kitchen.
Skills: Strong knife skills, solid understanding of cooking techniques, and ability to multitask under pressure.
Attitude: Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player who takes pride in their work.
Certifications: Valid HACCP / Food Safety certification.
