Massage Therapist (Freelance Contractor)
Location: Castletroy, Limerick, Ireland
Contract Type: Freelance Contractor Only (Not an Employee Position)
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
Availability Required: Evening availability is essential. Ideally 3 evenings per week, with alternate weekend availability preferred.
Rate: Starting from €20 per treatment hour to €28 ( based on experience, qualifications, treatment type, performance, and level of responsibility.

- The advertised rate represents the starting treatment rate. Higher rates may apply depending on treatment type, experience, qualifications, and responsibilities undertaken.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, professional, and reliable Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness practice in Limerick.

We welcome applications from both experienced therapists and recent graduates.
Recent graduates from ITEC Massage Therapy courses are encouraged to apply. However, candidates who require additional mentoring, training, and supervision should note that starting rates are unlikely to be at the upper end of the pay scale until competency and experience have been demonstrated.
Desired Qualifications and Experience Essential
- Qualification in Massage Therapy, Holistic Massage, Sports Massage, or a related discipline
- Deep Tissue Massage training and experience
- Sports Massage training and experience
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- A genuine interest in helping clients improve their wellbeing
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback
Advantageous
- Current IMTA membership
- Previous hands-on client experience
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage treatments
- Provide Deep Tissue and Relaxation Massage treatments
- Maintain treatment rooms to a high professional standard
- Ensure exceptional client care and customer service
- Encourage client retention through excellent treatment delivery
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and professional standards
- Maintain accurate treatment notes where required
